IV. Events:
1.    Both men's and women's Marathon (42.195km),
2.    Both men's and women's Half Marathon (21.0975km),
3.    Both men's and women's Mini Marathon (5 km).
 
V. Course Map:
1. The Start: New Century Square (Municipal Government Building)
2. The end of Marathon: New Century Square (Municipal Government Building)
3. The end of Half Marathon: The south side of New Century Gate
4. The end of Mini Marathon: No. 322 Lamp north of the bridge north of Nan'er Road
The route come along Wanda International Building, High-tech park of the University of petroleum, Vientiane amusement park, Yellow River International Exhibition Center, Qingfeng Lake Park, etc. 
 
VI. Rules:
1. The events are conducted in accordance with the latest Rules and Regulations for Track & Field certified by Chinese Athletic Association.
2. Checking-ins: athletes will check in separately according to their events within given time.
3. Start Order: in the order of specially invited Marathon male and female entrants, other male and female Marathon entrants, Half Marathon entrants and Mini Marathon entrants, every two starting points being 20 meters apart.
4. Starting: All events of the race will be started at the same time upon the signal of one gunshot.
5. Timing method:
1) An electronic timing service will be provided for athletes attending Marathon (42.195km) and half Marathon (21.0975km) for recording results.
2) Timing blankets are placed at the starting point, every 5km point, the 21.0975km point and the finishing point. Runners must pass through all the timing points during the race. The final score will be null if any of the time points is missed. Any 0.1 SECOND of time differences between every two chips will come to no result.
3) Timing chips will be distributed together with the number bibs and need not to be given back.
4) Chips not designated by the Organizing Committee will be confiscated and the relevant runners will be disqualified.
6. Gate closing distance and time (Subject to the gun time):
In order to ensure players’ safety, traffic is restricted during the race. Traffic will be resumed and the timing blankets will stop working after the gate closing time. Participants who can’t run the distance within the gate closing time should stop running and leave the course straightly. Athlete who withdraws from the competition can get on the Pick-up Coaches to the final point of relative event. In case of any special circumstances, the Organizing Committee may decide to close courses beforehand, and all participants shall obey orders.

7. Storing and collecting personal belongings:
1) Marathon and Half-marathon participants shall store their personal belongings in a designated area and collect their deposited personal belongings after the race at the same area. The Organizing Committee suggests that no valuables should be left in bags (e.g., mobile phones, valid credentials, cash, keys, credit cards, iPad, etc.). In case of any damage or loss, participants shall take responsibilities by themselves.
2) The cloaking area stops accepting storing 15 minutes before the gunshot.
3) Athletes can take away their personal belongings before 14:45 at designated areas. If missed, belongings can be claimed at the Organizing Committee. After one week, those belongings will be disposed of as unclaimed items by the Organizing Committee.

9. First Aid
1) First-Aid stations will be set up every 2.5km along the entire course as well as the finishing point.
2) The Organizing Committee will provide mobile medical service along the course.
3) There are medical service stations and volunteers along the course to help with first-aid and order-keeping. Participants can ask them for assistance.
10. Result Publication
Participants can check their results at the Yellow River Estuary Marathon Website 24 hours after the race finishes. (They can print their result certificates from the official website after the notice period.)
11. Doping controls will be carried out to all athletes.

2) Record Award: USD 10000 will be awarded to Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) International Marathon record breakers; Men (within 2:09:27, not included), Women (within 2:24:45, not included). The award will be given only to the first finisher. 
3) Time Award: This award is issued to runners for their highest performance, non-accumulative. The award will be given only to the first finisher.

3. Mini Marathon.
No rankings will be applied to Mini Marathon. The Organizing Committee will provide runners with T-shirts and number bibs.
4. Ranking methods:
The above award will be issued according to the gunshot time ranking. Participants who fail the doping test will be disqualified, and the vacancy will not be filled by other participants.
5. The top three Marathon and Half Marathon finishers will be awarded with a trophy, a medal and a tracksuit.
6. Marathon and Half Marathon participants will be provided with souvenir T-shirts, cloakroom bags, number bibs and Guide for Runners.
7. The result of top 20 finishers of Marathon and Half Marathon will be notified to the public on the official website.
8. Chinese winners will get equivalent amount of bonus in RMB.
9. According to Chinese taxation laws, all the above mentioned awards are subject to a 20% personal income tax, which will be deducted by the Organizing Committee.
VIII. Punishment
Video surveillance will be carried out along the course. It is forbidden to transfer (sell) or accept transference (purchase) of racing qualifications. Runners who violate this rule will be banned from the event for life and related consequences incurred will be borne by themselves. Runners with the following violations of the rules and regulations will get no results, and forbidden from participating in this competition for two years, and be reported to Chinese Athletic Association for further punishment:
1) Provide false age;
2)Carry other’s timing chip  or carry two or more chips while participating in the competition (including male athlete carry female’s timing chip);
3) Disobey starting order and fail to start at designated starting area;
4) Violate starting rules;
5) Finish the race in relays;
6) Refuse to quit the race after the gate closing time or go back to the course after exiting from the race;
7) Fail to complete the normal course of registered race event along the specified route, take shortcuts or transportation vehicles;
8) Pass the finishing point repeatedly for more souvenirs or pass the finishing point for souvenirs without finishing the race;
9) Fail to pass the finishing point with number bibs;
10) Forge number bibs or use umber bibs of other races or past sessions of this event to collect medals, etc. at the finishing line;
11) Participants who alter, cover or transfer number bibs will be responsible for all consequences incurred;
12) Acquire racing qualifications by providing false information or pretend to be foreign runners;
13) Improper behaviors (such as urination and defecation in public and littering);
14) Refuse to follow the instructions of working staff, disturb the race or assemble a crowd to make trouble;
15) Other violations of rules and regulations.
 
IX. Entry Rules:
1. Age Categories
1) Marathon: participants should be over 20 years’ old(born before December 31, 1999);
2) Half Marathon: participants should be over 16 years’ old(born before December 31, 2003);
3) Mini Marathon: participants should be over 10 years’ old(born before December 31, 2009). The Organizing Committee requires disclaimers to be signed by guardians or legal attorneys of participants under 16, who must be accompanied by guardians in order to participate.
2. Health Requirement
Marathon is an athletic sport of high load and great intensity over long distances. It is also a high risk athletic sport. Thus, it raises high demands on participant’s physical conditions. Participants should have good health and long-term running experiences or have finished training further than the running distance of Half Marathon. People who fall into the following categories are NOT allowed to participate in the competition:
1) Those with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;
2) Those with hypertension and cranial vascular disease;
3) Those with myocarditis and other heart disease;
4) Those has coronary artery disease and serious arrhythmia;
5) Hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia diabetics;
6) Those who get a cold within two weeks before the race;
7) Pregnant women;
8) Others who are not suitable to sport.
Any personal harm or property loss during the race incurred by one’s physical conditions or personal reasons will be borne by oneself. The Organizing Committee requires all participants to have a health check (including an electrocardiographic examination) at licensed medical institutions, evaluate one’s own physical conditions accordingly, and make sure to be suitable for the race before registration.
Notice: Facilities of the race, including the route, water stations and lavatories are not suitable for wheelchairs, baby strollers, roller skating and people with other special needs. To protect your safety, the Organizing Committee has the right to forbidden the participation of the above mentioned people in the race.     
3. Registration
1) The total entry number limit is 30000, including 15000 in Marathon and Half Marathon, 15000 in Mini Marathon.
2)Marathon, Half-marathon and Mini-marathon event registration can be made online at the Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) International Marathon website.
3) Individual and group participants please check the Registration Notice for specific registration information.
4) Number bibs of all participants will be published at the Event Announcement Colum of the Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) International Marathon website.  
5) All the participants are required to fill in the name and telephone number of emergency contact on race day. The information mentioned above should be written on the back of the number bibs before the race.
4. Registration Time
1) Pre-registration for Marathon and Half Marathon: from January 5, 2019 to February 17, 2019. The entry will be stopped when the entry limit is met.
2) Mini Marathon: open for online registration from February 16, 2019 to February 28, 2019.  The entry will be stopped when the entry limit is met.
5. Registration Charge
1) Domestic Marathon and Half Marathon entries (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan): RMB 100 per person.
2) Overseas entries: USD 50 per person.
3) Mini Marathon entries: RMB 30 per person.
4) Specially invited athletes and permanent race number participants are exempt from entry fees.
5) The Organizing Committee has the right to decide whether to accept registration of applicants. After registration, the event applied cannot be changed and registration fee will not be returned.
6. Participants will cover their own transportation, food, accommodation fees and medical treatment expenses occurred during the event.
7. Pick Up Necessary Articles
Qualified runners can collect related articles upon presentation of their registration forms and ID Cards at designated time and location, which will be announced at the official website before the race.
X. Technical representatives and technical officers
Designated by the Chinese Athletic Association.
XI. Insurance
The Marathon Organizing Committee supplies accident insurance for Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Mini Marathon participants. Please check details in the Accident Insurance Description at the Official Website before the race.
